Overview

The Department of Arts at N.M.D. College offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in humanities and social sciences. The B.A. programme is offered in Marathi and Hindi medium, with major subjects spanning English, Hindi, Marathi, Political Science, History, Economics, Geography, Sociology, and Philosophy. At the postgraduate level, the department offers M.A. in Political Science, History, and Economics — enabling students to specialise deeply in their chosen discipline. Faculty are actively engaged in research and regularly contribute to academic seminars and publications affiliated to Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.
